Refund and Returns Policy

At Shlok A-1 Saree, customer satisfaction is our priority. We take utmost care in packing, inspecting, and delivering high-quality sarees to our valued customers. In case you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, please read our Refund & Returns Policy carefully.


1. Return Eligibility

We accept returns under the following conditions:

  • You must initiate a return request within 7 days of receiving the order.
  • The saree must be unused, unwashed, unstitched, and in original condition.
  • All tags, folds, packaging, and accessories must be intact.
  • Products showing signs of wear, perfume, stains, or damage will not be accepted.

Non-returnable items include:

  • Sarees with fall, pico, tassels, or any custom stitching work
  • Sarees purchased during Sale / Discount / Clearance
  • Damaged items due to customer’s handling
  • Gift cards and accessories (if applicable)

2. Return Not Accepted For

  • Wrong color perception (color may vary due to lighting, cameras, screen resolution)
  • Minor weaving irregularities or thread pulls (these are common in handloom products)
  • Slight design or pattern variations (traditional products often vary from piece to piece)

3. Refunds

Once we receive your return and inspect the item, we will notify you about the approval or rejection.

If approved:

  • Refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 7–10 business days.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the product delivered was damaged or incorrect.
  • In case of prepaid orders, refund will reflect based on your bank/wallet processing time.

If rejected:

  • The product will be shipped back to you. Return shipping charges must be paid by the customer.

4. Exchange Policy

Exchanges are allowed only in the following cases:

  • You received a defective product
  • You received a wrong design, wrong product, or wrong color compared to what was ordered

Exchanges are not allowed for:

  • Size issues of blouse fabric (sarees come with free-size unstitched blouse pieces)
  • Change of mind

If the required saree is out of stock, we will offer a refund or store credit.


5. Damaged / Defective / Wrong Product Received

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product:

  • You must contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Email: support@shlok-a-1-saree.com
  • Include your order number + clear photos/videos of the received item and packaging

If approved, we will arrange:

  • Replacement
  • Exchange
  • Full refund (including shipping charges), depending on availability

6. Return Shipping (Customer Responsibility)

To return your product, you must ship it to our store address:

{Phase – 2, sector – 18, Shop number – 3, plot number -6, vinayk amrut building, Taloja, Maharashtra 410208}

Important points:

  • Customer has to bear the return courier charges.
  • Return shipping cost is non-refundable.
  • Use a trackable and reliable courier service.
  • We are not responsible if the shipment is lost during return transit.

7. Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled within 2 hours of placing the order.
  • Orders that are packed or shipped cannot be cancelled.
  • Refund for cancelled orders will be processed within 3–5 business days.

8. International Orders

  • International orders are not eligible for return or refund unless defective.
  • Customs duty and import taxes are non-refundable.

9. Gift Orders

If the item was marked as a gift:

  • You will receive store credit once the returned item is received.
    If the order was not purchased as a gift, refund will be issued to the original buyer.
